Rob Clydesdale – Studio director/engineer/producer/songwriter/musician

With over 30 yrs of recording, performing, song writing & music production, Rob has learned to love & respect the art of musical self expression within everybody. That’s why he embraces the intension of anyone who wants to record at The Cream Room.
Since being asked to help with the design of the studio in 1998, Rob has never felt the need to search for another musical home.
Rob has worked with all sorts of artists from almost every stage in the music industry, from cult artists such as Marden Hill to more mainstream artists like Sinitta. & David Bowie. And respect for what he can do in the studio grows more & more all the time.

Martin Lumsden – Studio director/finance/singer-songwriter

Martin is the newest member of the team which means fresh energy. He brings enthusiasm & foresight also; passion for music is one of his biggest defining traits. Having been in numerous recording studios with various bands for over 20 years & gaining interest in the recording technology aspect, it seemed a natural progression, when the opportunity arose, to join forces with Rob to take The Cream Room on.

Lindsay Weight – Studio consultant/ voiceover coach/musician

Lindsay is a real driving force for the Studio & we are lucky to have her on board. She is always ready with new ideas to help serve The Cream Room & anything she does is done with care & precision. Lindsay has been working in various capacities with the studio since 2002 including session singing. One talent that has shone through in the last few years is voice over work with companies such as Tesco, Shell, Walkers & Barclays Bank to name but a few Lindsay now coaches & works closely with one of Channel 4s top continuity announcers to help bring on new talent in the voice over market.

'The Cream Room is a laid back, unpretentious studio for serious musicians. It's set in a beautiful, unspoilt part of the country side with no distractions and 'Far from the madding crowd' yet only an hours drive from London. All of which made my time recording there both productive and enjoyable.'
